Shelley Keating MIRV, FGA, GIA GG, DGA, BA Int is a jewellery professional with more than 25 years experience in the jewellery industry. A qualified gemmologist for more than 20 years, Shelley began her career in jewellery as a goldsmith and decided early on to pursue specialised study, graduating as a gemmologist in 2001.  Shelley has the distinction of being a Fellow of the Gemmological Association of Great Britain (FGA) and is also a qualified Diamond Grading Member (DGA).  Additionally, Shelley is a Graduate Gemologist of the Gemological Institute of America (GIA GG). 

 

Shelley has worked in the fine jewellery sector in Ireland, the UK and the US for some notable heavyweights in the world of jewellery and for sixteen years, headed up Quality Assurance for Europe at the world's largest online fine jeweller and diamond retailer. 

 

A commitment to continuous professional development and a passion for learning led Shelley to undertake further specialist training in jewellery valuation with the Institute of Registered Valuers' (IRV) and ultimately to undergo the very rigorous adjudication process of the IRV earning her the designation of Member of the Institute of Registered Valuers (MIRV)  part of the National Association of Jewellers (NAJ).  Given the meticulous standards of the IRV, Shelley is extremely proud of her  membership  status which underpins the professional calibre of her work as an  independent, accredited and registered jewellery valuer. 

 

Shelley offers a premium concierge service, unique in Dublin, of jewellery valuations at the client's own location.  The business is solely focused on providing accredited jewellery valuation services from a highly qualified expert.  Shelley does not buy or sell jewellery, thus impartiality is guaranteed.
